As the time approaches for your beloved Aston Martin V8 Vantage or V8 Vantage S clutch replacement, wouldn’t it be good if there was an option to upgrade to a better, more specific clutch?
As is the case with almost every clutch replacement on these models, the flywheel shows many signs of concern which means a replacement flywheel becomes a necessity within the job. With this in mind, there is now an alternative to the standard clutch system.
Introducing the AMR clutch replacement kit, the improvements over the standard unit are three fold.
Because the AMR clutch has two friction plates, there is a much larger clamping area, meaning slip is far less likely, high engine speed gear changes are seamlessly dealt with and clutch wear is far slower.
The supplied flywheel is vastly lighter than standard, along with a smaller clutch pack which allows for a noticeably faster engine acceleration, due to the lighter and more central rotating mass.
The clutch pedal is noticeably lighter due to the construction of the clutch unit, making town and traffic driving less of an issue.
